Cassette

Los Angeles based Cassette clothing label has just released its Spring 2008 collection.

Although their take for this collection is dark, it’s very true to their style.

Uncomplicated, yet stylish womens/menswear.

Simple silhouettes

Subtle androgyny

Lohan claims she is sober now, and when asked whether she wants to be or if she feels she has to be, responds, “I never feel like I have to do anything. I wouldn’t be if I didn’t want to be. It suits me.” To borrow a term she uses to describe Ann-Margret, one of her idols, Lohan is a “tough cookie.” Toward would-be directors or producers who might have reservations about hiring her, she’s unapologetic: “I am what I am. They either want to take a chance or they don’t, is how I see it.”

A 2004 graduate of the Danish School of Design in 2004, Engbirk incorporates muted, neutral tones contrasted with wintry blacks and grays, boyish coats and slim ruched pants. And those hard lines spotted in many of her designs are no mistake. “I come from a family of architects and am very much influenced by the straight lines and simplification in Danish classical architecture,” she says.

“We thought it was important to continue with someone unexpected,” Antoine Arnault, Louis Vuitton’s Head of Communications says. “I think when people are flipping through a magazine, this will stop them.”
“The good thing about Keith is, he’s big just about everywhere. He speaks to the 20-year-old who’s into rock ‘n’ roll and the 65-year-olds who went to [a Rolling Stones] concert when they were 20,” Antonie concluded.
Keith Richards’ Louis Vuitton ad campaign will debut in a series of general-interest titles in April.
