The daughter of my late Grunge King, Kurt Cobain, little Frances is growing up before our eyes, into a beautiful - and stylish- young woman. Besides looking amazing in the photo shoots, especially the shot above, I look into her eyes and I get the feeling that she’s wiser than her tender years. What do you think?

Spring/Summer 2008 Zahara

A recent holiday to Morocco inspired both the apparel and accessories collections. Tuxedo-styling features heavily, with two variations of the classic black jacket and cropped tuxedo pant. Other key materials include PVC, denim and printed chiffons. Key colours are denim-blue, sand, red and black. Highlights from the accessories line include soft-handle shoppers in matching suede and patent, the mosaic laser-cut necklaces in leather, dip-dyed fringed necklaces and fringed hair bands. The accessories compliment the main collection, with key colours of purple, neon red and black.

With garment titles such as Salam Jumpsuit, Cat Shirt & Judith Dress, Reality Studio’s SS08 Collection is quite edgey and retrospective, with touches of the 80’s streaming throughout the collection.

I’m really inspired by the understated art direction of the collection!
