Christian Dior
I usually look forward especially to Haute Couture as it’s when designers can really shine with no expense spared, but I must say, I was a little disappointed with this season’s show. Apart from Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix, there wasn’t much to whet my style palette.
Dior’s collection was exciting as his theme was obviously set against a futuristic 60’s vibe which reminded me at times of the cute movie Down With Love, featuring Ewan McGregor andRenee Zellweger. If you’ve seen it, you’ll know what I mean.
Chanel
Chanel went down the road of the vintage 20’s/30’s. The one above is divine! It’s classic and timeless. I absolute love the delicate feather features in the neckline and shrug.
Christian Lacroix
Christian Lacroix’s collection is exquisitely put together. Very glamourous and reminds me of the stylish 1930’s, but with a edge.
I love the jacket above and the way the wide leg pants softly hang of the model’s hips. The head piece and shoes finish off the outfit really well.
The scarf really brings a bit of zing to the outfit! Love the pants, too!

According to mystyle the humble headband is getting wider: “Say goodbye to skinny ribbons and get ready to break out a thick headband.” Prada’s featuring the Turban in her Spring Summer 2008 range, as featured in Style.Com.
I really love these leg warmers from Sock Dreams, I just wish I had those legs again!
